DC Explores the Lazarus Planet, Flash Declares a One-Minute War in January Solicits

DC Comics is entering 2023 with a full slate of new titles starring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and more.

The new year begins with an exciting event from DC called «Lazarus Planet.» Initially announced during New York Comic Con, «Lazarus Planet» follows the events of Batman vs. Robin and sees characters from across the DC Universe either gain new superpowers or have their already-existing superpowers altered in some way. Artwork for «Lazarus Planet» shows Batman wearing Doctor Fate’s helmet, Martian Manhunter becoming a giant, Doomsday-like monster, Jon Kent going Electric Blue and more, all while Monkey Prince supposedly lends a hand in a major way.

Elsewhere, the Flash takes on alien speedsters and save the world within the span of 60 seconds during «One-Minute War.» The storyline expands in January with The Flash: One-Minute War Special written by Jeremy Adams, which sees the whole Flash Family fighting back against the ongoing invasion.

As Harley Quinn continues on her quest to find out who murdered her in her solo title, she’ll also fall in love with just about everyone in DC’s Harley Quinn Romances special. Coming from a large crew of talented writers and artists, the one-shot stars Apollo, Midnighter, Fire, Ice, Power Girl, Aquaman and, of course, Harley in eight tales full of love, lust and luxury.
