Iron Man Reboots, Spider-Man Teases a Major Loss and More in Marvel’s December Solicits

Marvel Comics is ending 2022 with a number of new issues, series, crossovers, trade paperback releases and more in December.

December will see the start of Marvel’s upcoming Dark Web crossover event with Dark Web #1, which comes from The Amazing Spider-Man writer Zeb Wells and artist Adam Kubert. The event brings Spider-Man, Venom, the X-Men and more together when Madelyne Pryor/the Goblin Queen and Ben Reilly/Chasm begin working together for sinister purposes. The event expands with a number of tie-in series and specials, including The Amazing Spider-Man #15-16, Venom #14, Mary Jane & Black Cat #1, Dark Web: X-Men #1-2, Gold Goblin #2 and Dark Web: Ms. Marvel.

Throughout the month, Marvel will also launch new series focusing on some of the publisher’s biggest characters, including a new Miles Morales: Spider-Man ongoing by Spider-Punk writer Cody Ziglar and artist Federico Vicentini, an Invincible Iron Man saga by writer Gerry Duggan and artist Juan Frigeri, a five-issue Monica Rambeau: Photon limited series and more.

Elsewhere, Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham’s Miracleman breaks into new territory as Marvel is releasing the first all-new chapter of «The Silver Age» with Miracleman By Gaiman & Buckingham: The Silver Age #3. All of that plus Deadpool going after a notorious Spider-Man villain, Kang the Conqueror entering into what could be his final battle, the Avengers meeting their prehistoric counterparts and more!
